About
My blog
This blog is for computer programmers that want to learn how to write high-quality software with a smarter and simpler approach. It will introduce you to various languages and tools that will make you effective when trying to write software.
Here I share code snippets, programming tools, and my own experiences to help you foster more ideas and approaches for your own programming. I won’t overload you with useless posts because I only post only when I can’t get something out of my head.
I think you’ll find what I have to say worthwhile, so I encourage you to Subscribe via RSS. See you around!
My work
I’m a software engineer for Sun Microsystems working on various projects surrounding xVM and registration. I work with many programming languages, most notably Java and web-centric languages like JavaScript, CSS, etc. However, I often branch out to new languages like Python, JavaFX, or Groovy.
Outside of Sun, I am an administrator and Groovy exam leader for JavaBlackBelt. I also administer the GroovyRTM project aimed a providing a Java/Groovy API for my favorite to-do list manager, Remember The Milk. I also donate websites to worthy organizations that otherwise can’t afford it.
My life
I live in Colorado in the US with my wife and 2 puppies: Montag and Sophie.
Aside from programming, I am a deacon for my church Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. I also play indoor soccer with my mates, the Internationals, every Sunday.
My profiles
Find and friend me around the interwebs. If I see that you do programming too, I’ll probably friend you back :)
